Solid carbide high performance drills
Solid carbide High-Performance drills from Nachreiner
Our solid carbide (VHM) high-performance drills are a true showcase of the power and versatility of our products. In this category, you'll find a wide range of variations with different diameters, such as:
- Aluminum twist drills (for the specific machining of aluminum)
- Universal twist drills (all-rounders with a broad application profile)
- Deep hole drills (for precision work on deep holes)
- 4-facet drills (for especially efficient and precise drilling)
- Metal drills with internal cooling for extreme tool and workpiece stress ... and many more.
Short or long, Nachreiner always has the tight High-Performance drill for you
Our solid carbide high-performance drills cover a wide range of applications. In addition to material properties, this also includes specific designs regarding diameter or the possibility of internal cooling, all while maintaining the stability and precision of the twist drills. The range of applications in industry and crafts is extremely broad for our high-performance drills. In our catalog, you'll find twist drills for high-performance applications in the following drilling depths:
The achievable drilling depth with the respective drills is calculated by multiplying the diameter of the drill. For example, with a 3xD drill, you can drill a hole up to three times the drill diameter, while a 15xD twist drill of the same diameter can drill holes up to five times deeper. If you need additional variants or cannot find the desired diameter in our range, please contact us directly, as we can often provide a suitable alternative or, if needed, produce custom-made special versions for you. However, a personalized consultation is required for more details.
Advantages of solid carbide in High-Performance drills
Twist drills come in various designs and versions. While universal twist drills and other metal drills in HSS and HSSE are the most common on the market, for certain applications, there is no better alternative than using a solid carbide tool from Nachreiner. Our solid carbide versions of high-performance drills are milled or ground from a single piece and, as the name suggests, are made entirely of solid carbide. In contrast, you often find drills with carbide tips, where only a carbide tip is brazed or even screwed onto a different base material. Depending on the material of the workpiece being processed, solid carbide is often more efficient, faster, and more robust, especially as processing time is significantly reduced due to higher cutting speeds.
Enjoy your reliable High-Performance drills from Nachreiner for a long time
Regrinding saves you money, as many drills can be reworked at least once (often several times). This is not only cheaper than purchasing new drills, but it also conserves the environment. The key is to leave the regrinding of drills and other high-quality cutting tools to real professionals. If you don't have the necessary knowledge or equipment yourself, we would be happy to take care of the reconditioning of your metal drills and other tools, whether they are from our range or third-party products. Give it a try!
