Reamers 1/100
Nachreiner HSS and HSSE reamers 1/100
Industries and crafts, especially in machine-controlled manufacturing in metalworking, rely on the adherence to the highest quality standards, dimensional tolerances, and precision. Particularly when it comes to the creation of holes, post-processing of the surfaces using 1/100 reamers is essential when a special surface finish and accuracy are required. In the extensive Nachreiner range of machining tools, you will find not only twist drills and other tools for producing standard-compliant and precise holes but also 1/100 reamers, H7 reamers, or custom tolerances that can be specified according to DIN, ISO, or factory standards. Anything not available in our standard stock can often be produced as a custom tool. For more information on custom machining tools, please contact Nachreiner’s technical support for personalized advice. Here is an overview of our machine reamers 1/100 in HSS and HSSE versions:

Perfect surfaces in holes with Nachreiner 1/100 reamers
When drilling holes with twist drills, the surface quality and dimensional accuracy are often insufficient for many applications. Post-processing with machine reamers or hand reamers is then required. Our 1/100 reamers made from HSS and HSSE meet the requirements for processing most metals and other materials with appropriate strength. For special challenges such as machining stainless steel and similar high-strength materials, a VHM (solid carbide) version may be better suited. However, there is also the possibility to enhance the performance of HSS and HSSE 1/100 reamers with special coatings. The cost-benefit calculation depends on the material to be processed, tool wear, and the desired tool life or cutting speed. Since the specifications for reamers can vary greatly depending on the application, we offer the opportunity to find the perfect solution for your requirements through our personalized consulting service.
Please note that some drilled holes may require pre-processing with a countersink or chamfering tool to ensure the reamer has an easier lead-in. Suitable tools are also available in Nachreiner's range, and anything not found there can typically be custom-made for you. Additionally, there may be other solutions with tools from our catalog that could also meet your needs. Our team is happy to assist with advice and support.
