HSSE end mills, HSSE radius-end mills
HSS End Mills and Radius End Mills (4-Flute and Multi-Flute) from Nachreiner
End mills are some of the most widely produced and used tools in metalworking due to their versatility. Nachreiner offers an extensive selection of HSS and HSSE end mills and profile cutters, including a variety of radius end mills. Radius end mills are primarily used to round off sharp edges on workpieces, quickly and reliably creating different radii depending on the application and design requirements. For optimal chip evacuation, end mills are typically designed with a right-hand spiral, although left-hand spirals are also available as custom orders if required. Please contact our service team for more information about these options. The end mills in this category are equipped with at least four cutting edges, with some featuring more depending on the intended use. Consequently, these HSS end mills are often referred to as 4-flute or multi-flute cutters.

This is just a small sample of our offerings. If you don’t find exactly what you need in our catalog, we can provide the appropriate end or radius mill for nearly any application. We also offer profile cutters (also as shank-type mills) according to DIN 855 and various company standards. For specific requirements, we are happy to manufacture custom mills to your specifications, even in small quantities. Please consult our expert department for more details.
Reconditioning and regrinding of end mills
Most cutting tools can be reconditioned and resharpened. However, we advise against attempting this without the necessary expertise and equipment. Our regrinding service can generally return your mills, drills, and many other cutting tools to service quickly. Regrinding is not only environmentally sustainable but also cost-effective, reducing the need for premature tool replacements. For high-quality tools, resharpening is especially recommended, provided it’s feasible based on the tool geometry (unfortunately, this isn’t always possible for some tool types). We also gladly resharpen end mills from other manufacturers—our customer-centered service is at the core of everything we do.
